Special Educational Needs (SEN)

A child may have Special Educational Needs at any point in their school life. This can take several forms such as a learning difficulty, physical difficulty, or a behavioural difficulty.

At Broomfield we aim to:

  • create an environment that meets the special educational needs of each child.
  • ensure that the special educational needs of children are identified, assessed and provided for.
  • enable all children to have full access to our school curriculum and any enrichment to it.
  • ensure that parents are able to play their part in supporting their child’s education.
