King Charles III Coronation Day
We celebrated the upcoming Coronation Of King Charles III with a variety of writing activities, craft and history work. St Hilda’s Church kindly awarded a £10 book voucher for a really interesting piece of writing chosen by each class teacher. We also enjoyed a lovely Coronation lunch.
Y5 & Y6 Environment and Waste Management Day
A really interesting day was had with a theatre company and members of LCC Environment and Waste Team. Our children have learnt more about being net zero, what can be recycled and made their own compost too.
Foundation visit to church.
Our Foundation Stage visited St Mary de Castro church in Leicester to learn about the Easter story and how important it is to Christians.
Year 4 Tennis Development Festival
Today our Year 4 children went to Northfields Tennis club in Syston for a tennis development session.
Commando Jo
We have used some of our PE Grant to fund Commando Dale one day a week. Each week they have completed a challenge activity that has developed their resilience, teamwork and respect.
A visit from the Flingatrons
We had a visit from the Flingatrons who talked to our children about the importance of recycling and looking after our planet.
