This year was a census year. At Broomfield we used the Nomis website and census materials to help us learn more about our village, where people were born and their occupations. We also found out what some of the occupations were that our road names are named after.
The whole school completed our own ‘Let’s Count Day’ and counted various things in our locality. Our work was cross-curricular and included elements of History, geography and maths.
